This course aims to impart knowledge and skills in preparing basic cakes and be able to apply them to the workplace. This includes preparing batter cake, baked cheesecake, sponge cake and chiffon cake.

In this programme, participants will have:

  • Basic knowledge of application skills in preparing basic cakes
  • Practical hands-on pastry skills to prepare basic cakes.This includes preparing batter cake, baked cheesecake, sponge cake and chiffon cake.

  • Learners who are keen in Making Basic Cakes.
  • Attendance is required for all programmes (WSQ and non WSQ Courses).
  • There will be written and practical assessments for all WSQ Courses.
