Upon completion of the course, learners will develop working knowledge in following food and beverage safety and hygiene policies and procedures for application in the workplace. This includes practising good personal hygiene, using safe ingredients, handling food safely, storing food safely, and maintaining cleanliness of utensils, equipment and service / storage areas.

The successful completion of this programme will certify participants to be competent to work in the F&B industry as required by SFA. 

The skills and knowledge taught include:

  • Maintaining Cleanliness of Utensils, Equipment and Service/Storage Areas

Workfare Training Support (WTS) Funding 

  • For Self-Sponsored Individuals only
  • Enjoy 95% WTS Funding for:
    • a Singapore citizen;
    • are aged 35 years and above on 31 December of the work year (aged 13 years and above for persons with disabilities);
    • earn an average gross monthly income of not more than $2,000 for the months worked

SkillsFuture Credit (SFC)

  • For Self-Sponsored Individuals only
  • All Singaporeans aged 25 and above will receive an opening credit of S$500 from January 2016. 
  • You may utilise your SkillsFuture Credit to offset the course fee payable after subsidy/funding.

Classroom Learning: 1 day, 9am-5pm (Inclusive of 1.5 hours of assessment)

Registration will close 1 week before the course commencement date or when class is full, whichever is earlier.

  • If the participant fails to meet at least 75% attendance per module and/or fails to sit for an assessment or for any other reason where funding is not approved, company / trainee is required to reimburse ACI the funded portion of the course fees
