This scheme aims to provide aspiring chefs with the necessary qualifications and skills to enter the Food & Beverage industry. Participants will attend professional training leading to a WSQ Diploma in Food Services. Job placement and attractive allowances of up to S$15,700* will be provided.

SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) Subsidy

SkillsFuture Credit (SFC) & One-Off Skills Future Credit Top-Up

  • For Self-Sponsored Individuals only
  • All Singaporeans aged 25 and above will receive an opening credit of S$500.
  • You may utilise your SkillsFuture Credit to offset the course fee payable after subsidy/funding.

Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP)

  • NTUC members enjoy 50% unfunded course fee support for up to $250 each year when you sign up for courses supported under UTAP (Union Training Assistance Programme). *T&C applies

  • For individuals who wish to obtain an industry recognised certification and seek employment in the F&B industry
  • For individuals who are Singaporeans/PR and above 16 years old

  • Minimum Secondary 2 education and above or WPLN level 4
  • Advanced Certificate in Culinary Arts (Asian Cuisine) or equivalent qualifications and/or relevant working experience.
  • Applicants may be required to go through an interview.


  • Participants must complete the programme within 15 months duration.
  • Participants are committed to attend job interviews arranged by ACI for job placement.
  • Participants must make upfront payment of full course fee.
  • All participants are required to pay an admission fee of $50 (Non-refundable).
  • Trainees are required to purchase a starter kit which includes the uniform, safety boots and tools kit.
  • All applicants are required to go through a programme preview before commencement date.
  • Paid course fee is non-refundable upon commencement of programme.
  • If the participant fails to meet at least 75% attendance per module and/or fails to sit for an assessment or for any other reason where funding is not approved, company / trainee is required to reimburse ACI the funded portion of the course fees
